Diesel-Electric Locomotive COMSA 335-001 | Freight Train Nr. 49801(Entroncamento-╗Fuentes de O˝oro) | Place: Between Riachos and Entroncamento, Portugal | Day: 06-05-12

---------------

Another cool train to be caught on the awesome double CP 1930s day. :) After we caught that double, we then went to another nearby bridge and waited for this one to pass. :D Its always cool to catch a Takargo hauled train with a COMSA 335 leased locomotive, specially the first one of the series. ;) I couldn't figure out another better tittle, sorry about that!
I liked this photo but somehow something looks kinda wrong for me, I don't know what... Please tell your opinion. :)

Nice color balance! This must have been a fun day to go shooting, weather-wise!

Thanks! :) Glad you liked the photo. It was very hard to take photos on this day, and the clounds have covered the sun when I took the photo of the two CP 1930s working on the special freight train. Even though I liked how the photo turned out, it would have been way cooler to catch with sun: [link]

Not wanting to offend but I have found as you sometimes my pictures are not pleasing to my eye, I believe there's an angle for a view of a train coming towards you go beyond this ( too side on! ) it looks wrong. unless its totally side on

I didn't understand what you tried to explain.

Sorry Basically the ratio of the side of the train to the front, so if the loco looks very long and the front looks narrow the proportions are not pleasing to the eye. In my humble opinion. I hope I haven't offended you!

Oh, now I have understood! To be honest I think that is why I wasn't enjoying much the photo myself... But to be just a little bit different, I chose this angle among the many others I used. :)

I was taking pictures of trains for a long time and I wasn't happy with them, So I looked at pictures in books and magazines, And tried to learn from those!

Well, you have watched my gallery, its not so usual to see photos with this kind of angle from me, so don't worry, there won't be many photos that aren't so great to your eye! ;) Then again, everyone has a different opinion about of everything, and I thank you for yours!
